designed specifically to suit your actual conditions.
The selection of materials is very important and must take into account all
of the above factors. They also must be selected to give the optimum life. We
select only the appropriate materials for the structure. We select grades of
wire, cables, poles, etc that will give the structure an average life span of 40
years. Correctly designed artificial shelters will
give you many types of crop protection.
The benefits include:
- significant wind protection
- bird and bat protection (important for stone fruit)
- improved fruit and crop quality
- reduced sun and wind burn
- potential for yield increase due to reduction of many limiting factors
- reduced evaporation and less need for irrigation
